‘Social movement needed to end violence against women’

Staff Correspondent: Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said social movement against violence against women should be launched.

The minister said this while addressing a view exchange meeting with newsmen at secretariat office in the capital on Wednesday.

She said there are various kinds of barriers including session jam in the public universities and colleges. Those problem are being identified and solution will be made soon.

“We are sincere to reduce the stress of books. Education commission is working on it. An act will be enacted after consulting the issue with experts,” she added.
